The What, the Who, and the Why

Find Your Sunshine is a multifaceted inclusive development and recreation company. We believe in the power of inclusion and advocate for inclusion to be a part of everyday life. Our mission is to build community and set a foundation for children to value all people because of their strengths and differences. At Find Your Sunshine, we have built inclusive programs that stimulate and educate children, teens, and adults utilizing a vast array of approaches, giving each student the opportunity for growth of the brain, body, and soul.

We offer programs throughout the local community and within our development and recreation center. Our programs include homeschool support, enrichment, various recreation classes(kids fit, gymnastics, yoga), community classes (such as ASL), early development classes, open gym, life skills, camps, adventure groups and more.

Why We Are Different

Where most interventions are strictly behavior, physical, or education focused, our programs are designed to look at the whole picture and address physiological needs, primitive reflexes, neurodevelopment, learning style, emotion recognition, behavior, education, and socialization in many different ways. We promise to believe in the potential of every student who comes to us and use consistent implementation and interaction to produce new growth and change. It is our mission to uphold this promise and lovingly express our beliefs and concerns with the families we interact with.

We find our practices differ from most because we equally value physical, emotional, neurological, and social development. We address each one of these target areas within our classes and services. Additionally, we believe providing an inclusive model is the best way we can serve the community. Inclusion creates a positive and diversified learning environment for students of different abilities, races, genders, and ages. In each of our programs at Find Your Sunshine, our main goal is to assess each client individually needs and develop a clear path for them to accomplishing goals, build self-esteem, and embrace community
